BOARD OF FIRE COMMISSIONERS
South Pierce Fire & Rescue is governed by a board of five (5) commissioners elected by the public to serve a six-year term. Each member of our current board is deeply rooted in this community. Each brings with him/her a plethora of knowledge, skill, and experience from prior/current service in: fire administration, career/volunteer fire service, and other various community organizations. These dedicated community servants are responsible for the District’s overall strategic planning and long-term vision. Working closely with the administrative staff, they guide the District via adoption of policies.
All regular meetings of the South Pierce Fire & Rescue Board of Commissioners are held every third Monday of every month (with the exception of holidays, in which the meeting is held the Tuesday following the holiday) at our Eatonville Headquarters located at 129 Mashell Ave N, Eatonville, WA 98328 and begin at 6:00pm. The District will no longer automatically offer a virtual option to allow remote participation in the meetings by members of the public; however, if any member of the public desires to submit a comment or would like to attend the meeting virtually due to a disability, limited mobility, or for any other reason that makes physical attendance impossible or difficult for them, a request may be sent via electronic mail to the following address at least one-half hour prior to the start of the meeting:: commissioners@spfr.org.
